Conversion into supported living accommodation
A look back at Prinsted
Prior to its refurbishment in 2017, Prinsted in Surrey was a private residence. The building had interesting features and was a fantastic space, but due to a lack of investment the property needed some vital improvements and was not living up to its potential.
When we became aware of the property, we could see what it could become, but it required work. A refurbishment was needed to reconfigure the building, creating new homes for multiple residents on a shared basis.
Transforming Prinsted
Work began on the transformation of Prinsted in May 2017. Working closely with our partners to ensure a smooth transition, the building was converted into supported living accommodation.
The building required extensive refurbishment, stripping areas of the property back to the structure and installing new facilities. Decoration works were also undertaken to ensure a fresh new look and to ensure the building was bright, homely and inviting for all who live there.

Making a home at Prinsted
Now completed, Prinsted has been transformed to provide a home for eight people on a shared basis. All bedrooms include en-suite facilities, with kitchenettes, a shared open plan living area and large bathroom.
On the ground floor, a sensory room has been created, along with a large utility room. Externally, an outbuilding was given an upgrade, transforming it into a day office.
Prinsted is situated near to shops and is close to Gatwick Airport and links to the M23 and M25. The property is ideally placed for residents and provides a comfortable home for all.
