An exciting opportunity for a Housing Systems Administrator has arisen to join the Fairhome Asset Management team who provide a variety of services on behalf of its clients which includes Property Maintenance, Housing Benefit Support to tenants and Housing Management.

As a Housing Systems Administratoryou will be responsible for managing the Housing Management System and the inputting of payments onto the rent accounting system.

Key responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the rent accounts system which includes:

  • Inputting Housing Benefit Payments onto the system.
  • Liaising with Local Authority Housing Benefit Departments.
  • Producing rent statements for the rent’s income team.

Using a variety of software to produce and maintain weekly reports, documents, spreadsheets and organising own work to meet agreed deadlines. More specifically, using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data into information via the use of charts etc.

Working with other departments within Fairhome Group PLC to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to clients.

Other duties include:

  • Ensure systems are well maintained, complete and accurate.
  • Developing, distributing and maintaining reports on a weekly basis.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above including Maths & English.
  • ECDL or proven experience of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Experience within a housing related environment is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
